Almost 700 citizens of Ukraine want to legalize their staying in Poland
Almost 700 citizens of Ukraine submitted applications for legalization of their staying in Poland during the first month of the action of the Polish authorities, launched this year, for legalization of foreigners, as the press service of the Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs informs.
According to the information, by the number of submitted applications, Ukrainians are the second among foreigners, who want to legalize their staying in Poland, and the share of their applications in the total amount is about 25%. Foreign illegal migrants submitted more than 2.3 thousand applications at all, and citizens of Vietnam became the leaders with almost 900 applications.
They noted in the press service of the Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs, that young people at the age of 31-45 ask for legalization the most often (about 950), at the age of 18-30 (almost 700) and under 17 (more than 100).
Citizens of Armenia are the third by the number of applications, they submitted 345 ones.
Citizens of China, Russia, Belarus, India, Georgia, Nigeria, Pakistan and Mongolia also submitted documents for legalization.
According to the data of the Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs, 80% of all applications were submitted by the residents of the capital Masovian Voivodeship.
The press service of the ministry reminded that applications for legalization might be submitted until July 2, 2012, noting that the Polish authorities created the special website http://abolicja.gov.pl/, where the conditions of legalization are described in details.
